Black Iris

There is nothing more striking than a black bearded iris. Although I am told that there is not such thing as a "black" flower, some of the very dark purple ones come very close.

Tall, regal and graceful, bearded irises like "Before The Storm" are in a class of their own.

Combine these with other spring beauties like white irisies or columbines and you have a stunning display in black and white.
