Moroccan Lanterns

Moroccan lanterns add a glamorous, exotic touch to any outdoor decor.

I first stumbled upon these lanterns several years ago. My husband had recently finished building a sun deck in the back corner of our yard with beams across the top to support a climbing vine and garden lights. In my search for interesting lanterns to hang from our deck I wandered into a Moroccan store and immediately fell in love with all their striking lanterns.

Although it was difficult to choose, I picked a six-sided metal cutout design with red glass inserts. I bought three of them - perfect for my triangular shaped beams.

When the sun sets and my Moroccan lanterns are lit, my back deck becomes my magical retreat.
